In addition to our scheduled runs, we have the following activities:
On the first Friday of every month club members get together at the Lucky Lab Brew Pub at 915 SE Hawthorne Blvd in Portland for a
casual evening out. People show up anywhere from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. See the message board for more information.
TRL members volunteer on the third Saturday of every month at the Blanchet House, a local establishment providing daily meals to those in need.
Members help with dinner preparation and service. Volunteers are invited to stay afterwards for dinner. Sign up via the
message board.

TRL offers members an opportunity to compete against each other for fun and prizes during a series of races each summer.

| Le Tour De Goose |
The Tour de Goose is a multi-stage running event fashioned after and taking
place during the Tour de France (July each year).
Runners of all ages and speeds are most welcome. You don't have to be fast to win! No matter
what your running speed, you will have a shot at winning Stages and the whole Tour itself!
No kidding.
The Tour de Goose is primarily about fun and friendship, with plenty of running involved too.
There will be beverages, prizes, awards, and an ending barbeque party. More information.
TRL fields teams for the Fit Right annual cross country series in the Portland area. Open and Masters teams are entered.

Since 2002 TRL has been the official pacers of the Portland Marathon. In addition, TRL provides the Portland Marathon Mile 24 aid station and
provides a booth at the marathon expo. More information.

| Special Olympics |
TRL volunteers with the Special Olympics by helping to organize and staff the regional qualifying
track meet for the Portland area. More information.
On the second Saturday of every month, TRL and the Multnomah County Animal Shelter partner
up to exercise dogs seeking a permanent home. Meet at the
Lake Oswego PETCO (333 S. State St/Hwy 43) at
9:00 a.m., meet the dogs, and take them out for a run along Old River Road. Dogs are available for more
interaction from 10-noon in the PETCO parking lot. More information.
